Roman legionaries were required to command a broad variety of skills. One of the most important was archery. For auction is a Roman bronze arrowhead C.200 BC. It is of veined triangular section, the form of preference as it allowed the arrow to penetrate both leather armor and the links of chain mail. It is just under 7/8 inch long and is in fine condition for the period. RAH13
