ANCIENT EGYPTIAN TERRA COTTA FIGURE ANTIQUE.

  This is a finely made Egyptian buff terra cotta figure of a rotund male with pompous attitude dating to about 300 BC.  It shows distinct Greek and Roman influence with fine features. It probably was painted originally and it definitely is a portrait of a specific person and probably made as a memorial at or near his death.  It is custom mounted and stands 2.4" plus the mount.  Condition is as shown.  Greek and Roman figures are rare but Egyptian figures are even rarer and the most sought after by collectors.  AN3 (3) s
