ANTIQUE ANCIENT 2000 Y O PRECOLUMBIAN STONE BEAD

This is a fine large green jadite stone bead from the Mezcala culture of precolumbian Americas. It is 0.39" (10.0 mm) and compressed spherical form like a donut. It is drilled with a conical drill from one side leaving a larger hole on one side and smaller on the other. It has a good green color with burial encrustation and dates to about the time of Christ. It is a fine antiquity and could be incorporated into a modern jewelry creation. 13A16
